Highlighting the expedited visa application procedure, the ambassador emphasized the wealth of opportunities for Indian hopefuls in the "land of the rising sun," including many skill development programs and excellent career possibilities. Suzuki specifically urged Indians, particularly the younger generation, to think about studying and working in Japan. He targeted students in particular, telling them that all it takes to secure a visa is showing a student ID. This is a really simple process.

There's good news for Indian students who want to study in Japan. According to recent news reports, Indian students and the younger people are being encouraged to investigate educational prospects in Japan by Hiroshi F. Suzuki, the Japanese Ambassador to India.

In addition, Suzuki reported a significant change in the rules governing Indian students' ability to obtain visas. She said that within three years of graduating from Indian universities, students can now present certificates of graduation or student status in place of proof of their ability to pay when requesting a single-entry visa for short-term visits intended primarily for tourism.

The purpose of this modification is to promote improved people-to-people contacts with India, with an emphasis on growing the proportion of youth tourists.

Suzuki voiced hope for a bright future for relations between Japan and India in light of the increasing number of Indians traveling there for employment and education.
