Applications are now being invited for a dual masters degree program at Sciences Po and TISS in Paris.

Sciences Po and TISS will jointly provide a master's degree program in global urban development that will begin in September 2024. The deadline for applications is April 7th for candidates.

Applications for the new joint master's degree program are now being accepted through the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) School of Habitat Studies and Sciences Po's Urban School. September 2024 is when classes start.

By April 7th, students who are interested in the Sciences Po-TISS dual degree program in Global Urban Development may register online at, the website of Sciences Po. Students who would need individual advice with their application can also get in touch with the institute's headquarters in India.


Curriculum for courses
The dual master's degree program will focus on worldwide urban development concerns and be offered in English for two years. The first year is taught at Sciences Po's Urban School in Paris as part of the master's program Governing the Large Metropolis (GLM), while the second year is taught at TISS in Mumbai at the School of Habitat Studies.

The successful students will get two Master's degrees at the conclusion of the two years, one from Sciences Po and one from TISS.
The curriculum aims to guarantee that students have significant job experience in addition to their academic pursuits.

Indian students who graduate will have the option to work in France for two years as they are eligible for a two-year post-study visa (APS), however they can also choose to work in India or anywhere else in the globe.
In the first year of the program, students will pay the Sciences Po tuition; in the second year, they will pay the TISS School of Habitat Studies tuition. The French Embassy's Charpak Scholarship, the RD Sethna Scholarship Fund's RD Sethna Loan Scholarship, and We Make Scholars Loan Scholarship are among the funding options available to cover the first year.
